Instructions

Arrive on time, ideally fasting. If fasting is not possible, we strongly recommend not consuming fatty foods before the draw, otherwise results may be distorted and the draw will need to be repeated.
Bring a valid ID; we will create a patient card for you.
A venous blood sample will be taken.
Payment for the draw is accepted by card or cash.

15 minutes

Collection fee

7,000 CZK; joint collection for 2 family members (500 CZK discount each).
Not covered by health insurance; includes a possible consultation with our general practitioner.

Result

Within 10 days of the draw, usually sooner.
A negative result will be communicated via the agreed channel.
For borderline or positive results, you will be invited for a consultation with a physician.

Analysis

The analysis of the collected sample is performed by the specialised Laboratory for CSF biology, neuroimmunology, pathology and special diagnostics Topelex s.r.o., Prague.

Further information

Warning! The indication for the test and the final interpretation of the result is carried out by your attending physician. In the case of a negative result, it is recommended to repeat the examination after 5 years.
